Spokane First Philippines Independence Day
FANA Celebrates philippines Independence day - june 11, 2023
On June 11, 2023, FANA commemorated Philippines Independence day with a grand celebration. The Riverfront Park, Lilac Bowl Area came alive with festivities, reminiscent of the nation's rich cultural heritage. The event showcased the traditional Filipino performances, including lively folk dances. Throughout the day, attendees enjoyed a free admission culture event, featuring family activities and Filipino cuisines. A special thank you goes out to Mayor Nadine Woodward, Fr. Rex Familiar, the Spokane Chinese Association, and the Indian Youth Club of Spokane for joining us in this joyous occasion.
The event was a heartfelt tribute to the Philippines' identity and journey to independence, leaving attendees with cherished memories and a deeper appreciation for the Filipino culture.

Asian pacific american heritage day
Last May 7, 2023, a momentous celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Day took place at Centerplace in Spokane Valley, located at 2426 N Discovery Place. The event, held on a Sunday, was a remarkable tribute to the rich cultural diversity and contributions of Asian Pacific American to the fabric of our society. This special occasion brought together communities from various backgrounds to honor and recognize the invaluable impact of Asian Pacific American throughout history.

It was memorable occasion where we celebrated unity, cultural diversity, and friendship within our community.
